Carlos Tevez's Future by ESSIEN,NKPOUTO NDY

The future of Carlos Tervez of Manchester United FC remains a doubt as his current two year- loan at Old-Trafford ends next month.

The Argentine play-maker has not been getting regular starting roles at the club and his situation was worsened by the fact that he did not start for Manchester United FC against Barcelona FC at Stadio Olympico, Rome at the 2008/2009 UEFA Champions League Final.

Liverpool FC has offered 50,000 pounds; Tottenham FC has offered 18,000 pounds while Manchester City FC is also believed to be in the radar.

It remains to be seen if Manchester United FC will sell him as he has really been of help to the club when the going was down, scoring a vital goal against Wigan FC and contributing other goals and the fact that the club does not like selling its players to its major rivals.

There are several boys and girls who go to a number of summer camps which include residential camps, day camps and a number of other specialty camps. We all remember camping as one of the most integral part of the school curriculum. It was something that I can never forget throughout the life, the magic that a camp experience can bring about in the developmental values of our youth. All the experience in the camp stands as the foremost as compared to the different educational possibilities for the personal growth. Some of the factors that help in making the camp an effective one is the setting of the camp itself, the interaction level of the group in the camp, the sharing of the different activities and the different forms of leadership offered by the adults other than the parents or the teachers.

The camping experience is available on a broad base to all our young citizens. A look at the camping objectives will help us to have a better glance on the camping experience as such:

• The camping experience is designed in such a way that it offers a wide variety of skills like sports, crafts, water skills, nature lore etc; The young people have wider range of options to explore the diverse interests in addition to enhancing their existing interests in a wider scope. • In addition to the wide range of activities offered during the camping tenure, there is a realization and appreciation of the Supreme Being through the nature that can be easily felt in the open setting of the camp. • Summer camps are the centers that aim at developing the physical characteristics and the social behavior of the individuals. With the range of diverse activities, balanced diet, supervision through trained professionals. Camps are known for enhancing the mental and physical vigor. • Safety is one of the primary concerns of camping and safety can be exercised through the efforts of each and every member in the camp. • As mentioned earlier summer camps aim at developing the socializing skills of the people, the personal adjustments that the campers need to make because of the level of close living, changing and the demanding society. Camping is known to provide pathways that lead to understanding of other people, their differences in races, economic levels, religions, gender and levels of capabilities. • The characteristic of independence is brought to light with the camp life, this is really important with the feature that we live in a multi society.

Soccer: Need for Regulations by Marian Aldana

Some exceptional students who have enough talent and impressive scores quickly attract the attention of college coaches during (or even before) college soccer recruiting. Others, however, need to make extra effort in order to beat the competition. There are thousands of students involved in high school varsity programs. Most of them, if not all, are also pinning their hopes in availing of scholarships and other forms of financial aid to help them further their education. An individual needs to let the college he wishes to attend know what he can do to improve their home team. He also needs to do what he can to maintain an edge over such a large competition.

In England during medieval times, players from towns and villages played against rival towns and villages. Apparently there were no known set of definitive rules, and kicking, punching, biting and such violent behavior were permitted.

Hundreds of people took part in the games, and a match could last all day. So violent did these matches become that many attempts were made by the authorities to ban soccer. In fact, during King Edward III's reign, laws were passed that threatened imprisonment to anyone caught playing soccer. King Edward III's included this statement: "For as much as there is a great noise in the city caused by hustling over large balls, from which many evils may arise, which God forbid, we command and forbid on behalf of the King, on pain of imprisonment, such game to be used in the city future."

These laws, however, failed to curtail the popularity of the sport, which earned official sanction in England by 1681. The game had become so popular by 1800s that, in certain annual contests in the northern and middle regions of England, large mobs roamed and raged through towns and villages during play. In 1829, an account of such a match in Derbyshire described people with "broken skins, broken heads, torn coats and lost hats."

Soccer is now a regulated sport with countless fans across the world; and many among these are high school students. It is usually the case that only the indisputably best players will be approached with offers to play in college soccer teams without having to make any effort. Most soccer players will have to promote their skills and abilities themselves in the process of college soccer recruiting.

College Soccer: Ancient Games by Marian Aldana

Students try out in college soccer recruiting for a spot in college soccer teams. Soccer is a sport played between two teams consisting of eleven players, and is thought by many to be the most popular sport in the world. It is played on a rectangular field of grass or turf, with a goal set up at the opposite ends. The object of the game is to bring the ball into the opposing goal.

One of the earliest known forms of soccer wherein players propelled a ball around on a small field through kicking has been traced as far back to 1004 B.C.; in Japan. The Munich Ethnological Museum in Germany has obtained a Chinese text dating approximately 50 B.C. which describes games very similar to soccer. There is documentary evidence indicating that an activity or exercise, which involving kicking a ball into a small net, was developed by the Chinese military during the Han Dynasty. It is estimated that these date back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC. There also apparently were games played between teams from Japan and China. Moreover, it is an established fact that a soccer game was played in 611 A.D. in what used to be the Japanese capital of Kyoto. The ancient Greeks and Romans also used games somewhat resembled modern soccer to sharpen warriors for battle.

Countless capable young athletes are overlooked every year simply because they didn't submit their athletic resume to the colleges suited for them, or left out vital information that would have otherwise caught the attention of college coaches. High school soccer players need to be aware that the standard of play at college level is very high. It is advisable for students to attend a few games to determine the actual intensity of the collegiate game. Only the indisputably best players will be approached with offers without having to make any effort. Most soccer players will have to promote their skills and abilities themselves in the process of college soccer recruiting.

Fortunately, the Internet has proved to be a useful venue for both athletes and coaches looking for promising players to play in college soccer teams. The Green Green Grass by Carliona Trocina

The use of grass seed at sports stadiums has, in the last 20 years, become an exact science. Much research has been done into the growing of a suitable product that will give durability, easy maintenance and a 'fresh' look, even after a lot of use.

One of the most famous sports teams in the world, Manchester United, are supplied by a company who specialise in seeding sports stadiums. DLF-Trifolium have developed a seed called Microclover which provides big advantages to the everyday wear of heavily used sports fields.

Inspections show that Microclover closes gaps in the turf quickly and survives heavy use. Heavy training sessions during the wintertime have taken place on these pitches and according to players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, the turf is better than ever.

These seeds provide a layer of tiny clover plants just under the grass which has a number of benefits.

It keeps the grass green all year round, the clover fixes nitrogen feed to the soil and it's deep roots reduce the need for watering as well as suppressing weed growth at the same time.

Such is the quality and denseness of the grass that from a few feet away it looks like a normal 'grass only' lawn. New microclovers have achieved the smallest leaf size ever seen in commercial White Clovers.

These small leaves give the desired impression of a "grass lawn" rather than a Clover lawn.Ordinary large leaved White Clover often appears in older lawns. They tend to be patchy and give a very uneven look to the lawn. This is the reason why white clover has been seen as a weed until recently.

New microclovers grow short and spread evenly in the lawn with turf grasses, thus giving a perfect "grassy" look to the lawn.

As well as providing seed for Manchester United at Old Trafford, DLF-Trifolium also provides products for Aston Villa at Villa Park, Crvena Zvezda Stadion (FC Red Star Belgrade), Serbia and Ascot Race Course.
